Jessica's educational journey began with the completion of her undergraduate degree in nursing at Trinity College of Nursing in Rock Island, Illinois. Following her graduation, she embarked on a remarkable career as a labor and delivery nurse, contributing eight years of dedicated service to the field. Her experience expanded further as she spent two years as a cardiac nurse, solidifying her foundation in patient care.

Driven by a commitment to advancing her knowledge and abilities, Jessica made the pivotal decision to return to academia to pursue an advanced degree. In 2007, she achieved a significant milestone by earning her Masters of Science in nursing from Northern Illinois University. Her steadfast belief in the importance of education as a means to achieve and sustain health has been a guiding principle throughout her career.

Jessica's professional interests encompass both gynecological and obstetrical care, reflecting her holistic approach to women's health.
