Rosina Victor, MSN, WHNP, CNM is an experienced board certified nurse midwife as well as board certified women’s healthcare nurse practitioner that has been caring for patients in varying aspects for almost 20 years.

Rosina has loved medicine and caring for women since her childhood- growing up in a family of 8 children she had the unique opportunity to watch and support her mother through multiple pregnancies- and became fascinated by a woman’s ability to adapt, provide, and care for others.  This critical experience sparked a lifelong passion of caring for others. Rosina began her career in medicine following graduation with her BSN in nursing from Elmhurst College in 2008, and subsequently spent 9 years working in high acuity units. Consistently dedicated to excellence, she pursued certification in her fields and became lead nurse, mentoring newer nurses and ensuring excellent patient care and outcomes.

Ultimately desiring greater autonomy and a more proactive role in healthcare, Rosina returned to school to pursue higher education at University of Illinois at Chicago and achieved her Master’s Degree in Nursing- graduating with a perfect 4.0 GPA and dual certifying in both Women’s Health and Midwifery.  During this time she worked in the hospital, providing care to women both pre and post delivery.

Since that time, Rosina has been privileged to care for thousands of women over the course of her career, and has delivered hundreds of babies, being blessed to help women in building their families and also in developing their own personal healthcare journeys over their lifespan. Rosina especially loves sharing her knowledge and helping educate women regarding their health- whether caring for adolescents and those new to healthcare independence, optimizing pregnancies, menstrual cycles, and chronic conditions, or helping women through life changes associated with menopause.  Rosina is passionate about teaching and shared decision making- providing the knowledge women need to make the best choices for their health, while acknowledging individuality and varying goals of care.

This approach has earned her the loyalty and trust of her patients, giving her the pleasure of being able to care for multiple generations of families and to build caring consistent relationships with her patients where they can feel safe to share their story and create strategies to address any concerns.  Rosina is honored to care for her existing patients and welcomes new ones- feeling blessed to care for women who give so much of themselves to care for others.
