Mariela Cortes is a board-certified Nurse Midwife with a deep passion for supporting women through every stage of their reproductive health journey. As part of the Elite Women’s Care team, Mariela brings years of hands-on experience in both outpatient and hospital settings, offering personalized and culturally sensitive care to women of all backgrounds.

Fluent in Spanish and English, Mariela specializes in obstetric care, postpartum support, family planning, and well-woman exams. Her clinical expertise includes LARC procedures, labor triage, postpartum management, and intrapartum support. She is known for her warm, communicative approach and her ability to build strong, trusting relationships with patients.

Mariela holds a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in Nurse Midwifery from Frontier Nursing University (expected July 2024). She has previously served at high-volume practices including West Suburban Medical Center, Esperanza Health Centers, and St. Anthony Hospital, where she provided care for diverse patient populations.
