Post-Care Instructions for V-VR Treatment

V-VR (Vaginal Rejuvenation) is a non-invasive radiofrequency treatment that enhances vaginal tissue health, elasticity, and hydration. To ensure optimal healing and results, please follow these post-care instructions carefully.

1. Immediate Aftercare

  • Mild redness, warmth, or slight swelling in the treated area is normal and should subside within a few hours.
  • A mild sensation of warmth or tightness may occur and typically resolves within 24 hours.
  • No Insertion or Touching: Avoid touching, rubbing, or inserting anything (e.g., tampons, menstrual cups) into the vaginal canal for at least 48 hours.

2. Hygiene & Skin Care

  • Gentle Cleansing: Use lukewarm water and a mild, fragrance-free cleanser for intimate hygiene. No harsh soaps or douching.
  • Moisturizing: If recommended by your provider, use a prescribed vaginal moisturizer to maintain hydration.

3. Sexual Activity & Physical Restrictions

  • No Sexual Intercourse or Vaginal Penetration for at least 48 Hours: This allows the vaginal tissue time to recover.
  • Avoid Strenuous Exercise & Sweating: No heavy lifting, excessive sweating, or intense workouts for 24–48 hours.
  • No Hot Tubs, Saunas, or Hot Baths: Avoid excessive heat exposure for at least 48 hours.

4. Clothing & Comfort

  • Wear Loose, Breathable Cotton Underwear to prevent irritation.
  • Avoid Tight Clothing & Synthetic Fabrics that may trap heat or cause discomfort.

5. Hydration & Lifestyle

  • Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water to support tissue healing and collagen production.
  • No Alcohol or Smoking for 48 Hours: These can slow down healing and collagen regeneration.

6. Follow-Up & Results

  • Results Develop Over Time: Improvements become noticeable within a few weeks as collagen production increases.
  • Multiple Sessions May Be Recommended for optimal results.
  • Attend All Follow-Ups: Your provider will monitor progress and healing.

7. When to Contact Your Provider

Seek immediate medical attention if you experience:

  • Persistent redness or swelling beyond normal healing time.
  • Unusual discharge, foul odor, or excessive discomfort.
  • Signs of infection (pus, fever, or excessive warmth in the area).

By following these post-care instructions, you can enhance your recovery and maximize the benefits of your V-VR treatment.
