Post-Care Instructions for Dermafuse Treatment

Dermafuse is a non-invasive electroporation treatment that enhances skin hydration, rejuvenation, and elasticity by delivering active ingredients deep into the skin. To ensure the best results and a smooth recovery, follow these post-care guidelines carefully.

Immediate Aftercare

Mild redness, tingling, or slight sensitivity in the treated area is normal and should subside within a few hours. Avoid touching, rubbing, or scratching the skin to prevent irritation. If needed, apply a cool compress (wrapped in a clean cloth) to soothe discomfort.

Skin Care Routine

For the first 24–48 hours, cleanse your skin gently using a fragrance-free cleanser and lukewarm water. Avoid hot water and harsh scrubbing. Keep the skin hydrated with a soothing moisturizer, but refrain from using retinoids, AHAs/BHAs, vitamin C serums, or exfoliants for at least 5–7 days. Avoid wearing makeup for 24 hours to allow your skin to breathe.

Sun Protection

Protect your skin from direct sun exposure for at least one week. Apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ sunscreen daily, even when indoors, and wear protective clothing, such as a hat, when outside.

Managing Discomfort & Healing

If mild irritation occurs, a facial mist or thermal water spray can help soothe the skin. Avoid heat exposure, including hot showers, saunas, and steam rooms, for 48 hours. Strenuous activities that cause excessive sweating should also be avoided for 24–48 hours.

Hydration & Lifestyle

Stay well-hydrated by drinking plenty of water to support skin healing. Avoid alcohol and smoking for at least 48 hours, as they can slow down skin regeneration.

Follow-Up & Results

Results will continue to improve in the following weeks as the active ingredients work within the skin. Multiple sessions may be recommended for optimal results, depending on your skincare goals.

When to Contact Your Provider
